Panel Service SaaS Data Comm Fee
Customers using Identity Panel SaaS pay a monthly data communication fee for each Panel Service connected to any production Identity Panel tenant provided by SoftwareIDM. You do not need to pay this connection fee for a part-time test tenant, unless the number of Panel Services in the test tenant exceeds the production tenant. With this fee, you gain the ability to send and receive data from your cloud tenant.
Although you can reduce your costs by limiting your number of Panel Services; Panel Services must be properly scaled. MIM requires one Panel Service per MIM farm. For other connections, like Active Directory and AzureAD, you will need a two Panel Service farm. Typically, a two server farm will service most corporations and all of their non-MIM Identity Panel providers. This scenario will leave you with three Panel Services costing a total of £900.00 per month.
If you choose to use the SaaS version of the Panel Service, where Panel Service is hosted by SoftwareIDM rather than on your premise, the fee still applies.
Note: The SaaS version of Panel Service is serviced in the Identity Panel cloud, and is limited to only scanning cloud hosted system like Service Now, Azure B2C, and Office 365.
